Uber approached our team to design and build an environment that inspired creativity and celebrated sustainability. We set out to create an unexpected world using a single, environmentally conscious material: cardboard. Known for its versatility and recyclability, it became the foundation for an entire spatial experience that blended design, math, and imagination.
The installation featured more than 1,600 site lights and a repeating geometric equation that connected each zone of the space. What was once a warehouse became an immersive wonderland that invited exploration and awe. At its center stood a handcrafted replica of the world-famous Omnia nightclub chandelier, built entirely from cardboard, a playful nod to innovation through simplicity.
The result was a one-night transformation that redefined what sustainable design could look like at scale.
