CDM Village Mural Project

Bringing public art into the heart of Corona del Mar through community-driven mural work.

In collaboration with the City of Newport Beach and Sherman Library and Gardens, we helped bring two large-scale murals to life in Corona del Mar Village. The project was designed to extend art beyond the garden walls and into the surrounding community, creating vibrant visual moments that enhance the everyday experience of the neighborhood.

Our role included creative direction, artist coordination, and execution. Working with muralists Jon Leonardo, Cory Schnitzer, and Aaron Martinez, we transformed two key sites into expressive public canvases. One mural was installed adjacent to Sherman Library and Gardens, while the second activated the parking lot at The Place. Each piece was designed to reflect the character of the area while contributing to a cohesive visual identity for the corridor.

The result is a pair of murals that bring color, energy, and cultural value to Corona del Mar. Supported by local leadership and community partners, the project stands as a strong example of how public art can enrich a neighborhood and create a more engaging environment for both residents and visitors.
